Round #3 of the Ocean Sprints pres. by Taco Bravo 2017 Season on tap Friday, May 12racepmg
Watsonville, CA – With two rounds in the books, Race #3 of the 2017 season for the Ocean Sprints pres. by Taco Bravo will take place this Friday. Last week, Easton’s Tommy Tarlton made his season debut and came out on top after an aggressive move on Geoff Ensign of Sebastopol. Ensign and last week’s runner-up, Justin Sanders of Watsonville sit tied atop the point standings. Gilroy’s Kurt Nelson is 9 points out of the lead in third. Last week, Sanders, who had to pull off in the feature with electrical gremlins, charged through the field to grab an impressive second place. He will look to better that finishing position by one this week.
The IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, American Stocks, 4-Bangers, and the South Bay Dwarf Cars join a packed night of racing. Pits open at 2pm and Grandstands open at 4:30pm.
